First, you have to decide on the domain name you want to purchase. Next, you have to find out if the name is available. Then, you have to register that domain name.

As you go through this process, you’ll find that it is much easier and cheaper to buy a domain that is unregistered than to buy a domain that is already registered by somone eslse. The domain name industry is now a big business and a huge number of people purchase thousands of names, with the intention of reselling these names for a profit. These names are sold at ridiculously high prices to those that desperately want them.

Most people believe that the good domain names have already been taken. But that is not true, you can still come up with a great domain name that is not yet registered by someone else.
To come up with the name you want to purchase, you need to do some brainstorming. Make a list of keywords related to the theme or sbject you have in mind or are considering. Once you have compiled related keywords, combine the keywords to form a domain name that matches the idea you have in mind. Of course, if you want to buy a domain name that is related to someone’s real name or a company’s name, then it will be a simpler process.
2. Check if the domain name is available
You can only be allowed to buy a domain name that is not taken or registered by someone else. So before you buy a domain name, it must have to be available. You can find out if your chosen domain name is available by visiting any domain name registrar and doing a search. Simply type in the domain name in the search box and hit “enter” or “search”, and it will tell you whether the domain name is available or not.
3. Buy the domain
Once you have found a domain name that is available, you can go ahead and register it. Go to a domain registration service, create an account with your personal details including your name and address, phone number and email. Follow the step by step instructions to make your payment and complete the transaction. The process of buying a domain name only takes a few minutes.
